The Royal Air Pressure on Thursday scrambled a Storm fighter jet to intercept an Air India plane that acquired a bomb risk and the airplane later landed safely in London.

The bomb risk was acquired for the Air India airplane from Mumbai to London, an airline official mentioned.

“We will verify that RAF Fast Response Alert Storm fighter plane from RAF Coningsby have been launched this afternoon, to analyze a civilian plane,” a Royal Air Pressure spokesperson mentioned.

Following an uneventful interception the plane was launched to proceed to its unique vacation spot below the route of civilian air site visitors management, the spokesperson mentioned.

Additional, the spokesperson mentioned the incident is now being dealt with below the management of civilian authorities.

The airline official mentioned the flight landed safely at London Heathrow Airport.

A loud sonic growth was heard within the East Anglia area of England because the jets have been scrambled, authorised to transit at supersonic pace for operational causes.
