A person, his son and grandson had been killed as two teams clashed throughout Diwali celebrations in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district on Thursday.

Preliminary investigations recommend the assault was sparked by previous rivalries and derogatory feedback made by the victims in the direction of the accused households, police stated.
The victims have been recognized as Bathula Ramesh, Bathula Chinni (son), and Bathula Raju (grandson).
“We’re investigating the incident from all angles, and preliminary proof suggests a long-standing feud between the households. We’ll arrest the accused quickly,” senior police official Ramakrishna Rao stated.
