A person, who allegedly stole a state-run TSRTC bus with passengers on board in Siddipet district after “posing” as its driver, was arrested, police stated on Tuesday.

Based on police, the Telangana State Street Transport Company (TSRTC) bus was parked within the bus station by its (precise) driver on Sunday. The accused obtained into the motive force’s seat and instructed the passengers, who had been already seated in it that the bus will depart for Hyderabad.

He then began the bus and after driving a ways, the automobile went off the highway at Jillella Crossroad even because the passengers questioned him for “rash” driving.

The accused then stopped the bus after it reportedly ran out of gas and fled from the spot, police stated.
