Scholar Says Karnataka Schooling Minister Cannot Communicate Kannada, He Reacts

Karnataka Minister Madhu Bangarappa described the scholar’s comment as “silly”

Karnataka Schooling Minister Madhu Bangarappa was riled up when a pupil stated throughout a video convention that the minister doesn’t know Kannada. Talking in Kannada, he described the comment as “silly” and informed authorities to take motion towards the scholar.

This occurred in the course of the launch of a free on-line teaching course for about 25,000 college students making ready for aggressive exams for admission to engineering and medical programs corresponding to Karnataka Frequent Entrance Take a look at, JEE and NEET.

In a video that has now circulated on social media, the minister is seen interacting with college students by way of video convention. A voice is heard saying, “The Schooling Minister doesn’t know Kannada.” The minister promptly responded, “What? Who’s it? Am I talking Urdu?”

He then added, “Please report this and take motion towards him. That is very silly. Inform the instructor and the BEO (Block Schooling Officer), this needs to be taken up very severely. I can not sit quietly.”

The minister’s order for motion towards the scholar has drawn sharp criticism from the Opposition BJP. The official X deal with of Karnataka BJP posted a cartoon of a pupil asking a query to the minister. The caption said whereas the minister tells college students to ask daring questions, “you’re the one who calls the questioner silly”.

Pralhad Joshi, Union minister and MP from Karnataka, stated in a submit on X, “Hadn’t Madhu Bangarappa publicly admitted that he does not know Kannada?? Why is the @INCKarnataka punishing the scholar who reminded him of this?? What are they attempting to attain right here ?? What else could be anticipated of hopeless Congress??”
