Former Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, actor Akshay Kumar and Rajkummar Rao are among the many early voters within the Maharashtra Meeting Elections 2024. The Bollywood celebrities stepped out of their properties early within the day to train their basic proper to vote.

Sachin Tendulkar alongside along with his spouse Anjali and daughter Sara solid their vote at a polling sales space in Mumbai. The trio confirmed their inked fingers to the media.

“I’ve been an icon of the ECI (Election Fee of India) for fairly a while now. The message I’m giving is to show up and vote. It’s our accountability. I hope individuals will take that effort and are available and vote. I urge everybody to come back and vote.”

Actor Akshay Kumar confirmed his inked finger after casting his vote for Maharashtra Meeting Elections 2024.

Whereas talking to the media, Akshay Kumar made a clarion name to vote. Lauding the preparations made on the polling sales space, Mr Kumar stated, “The preparations for senior residents are nice. Cleanliness has been maintained. I need everybody to come back out and solid their votes.”

Rajkummar Rao solid his vote at a polling sales space in Gyan Kendra Secondary College, Mumbai. He urged residents to do the “necessary” job – vote.

“It’s our proper in a democracy, so it is necessary that we step outdoors and vote. I’ve carried out my obligation. It’s your flip now. Please vote,” actor Rajkummar Rao stated, whereas talking to information company Press Belief of India.

Actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt appealed to her followers to make their votes depend. She wrote, “Go vote Mumbai. Go vote Bandra. Your vote issues.” 

Movie administrators Kabir Khan and Zoya Akhtar, actor Ali Fazal, and filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar too got here out early to solid votes and fulfill their obligation.

Voting for the single-phase Maharashtra meeting elections started at 7 am and can conclude at 6 pm. Polling is going down throughout 288 meeting constituencies.

A complete of 4,136 candidates are contesting the elections, together with 2,086 independents.
