The bridge connecting Bairabi to Sairang collapsed within the Sairang space throughout development

The Northeast Frontier Railway Chief Public Relation Officer Sabyasachi De stated the railway ministry has introduced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for the deceased household, who have been killed as an under-construction railway bridge over the Kurung river in Mizoram collapsed on Wednesday.
Talking to media individuals, Sabyasachi De stated, “On Wednesday round 10.30 am 196 bridge connecting Bairabi to Sairang collapsed within the Sairang space throughout development. The contractors who have been engaged on the bridge and launching a girder when the bridge collapsed”
“The Railway ministry has introduced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the subsequent of the kin and Rs 2 lakh for the significantly injured and Rs 50,000 for the minor injured,” De acknowledged.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing condolence introduced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the subsequent of kin of the deceased.
PM Modi introduced that the ex-gratia can be paid from the Prime Minister’s Nationwide Reduction Fund (PMNRF).
Then again, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga stated he was deeply saddened over the lack of lives within the incident, and expressed gratitude to all those that helped within the rescue operation.
“Below development a railway over bridge at Sairang, close to Aizawl collapsed right now; at the least 17 staff died: Rescue beneath progress. Deeply saddened and affected by this tragedy. I lengthen my deepest condolences to all of the bereaved households and wishing a speedy restoration to the injured. Sending gratitude to the individuals who have come out in giant numbers to assist with rescue operations,” the Mizoram Chief Minister stated.
