A police constable was arrested on Friday for allegedly raping a 22-year-old girl in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur, an official mentioned.
As per the lady, she was raped by the 26-year-old constable in his automobile and at her home within the intervening evening of Wednesday and Thursday.
“The constable is posted within the State Police Academy in Chandkhuri close to Raipur. After the lady filed a grievance on Thursday, he was arrested below Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions for rape, prison intimidation and different offences,” the official mentioned.
