Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hailed the “indomitable spirit and braveness” of all Ranks and Veterans of the Infantry on the event of Infantry Day.
In a publish on X PM Modi wrote, “On Infantry Day, all of us salute the indomitable spirit and braveness of all Ranks and Veterans of the Infantry, who tirelessly defend us. They at all times stand resolute within the face of any adversity, guaranteeing the security and safety of our nation. The infantry embodies the essence of energy, valour and obligation, inspiring each Indian.

On this event, Chief of Defence Workers (CDS) Normal Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Military Workers Normal Upendra Dwivedi, and different senior officers lay wreaths on the Nationwide Struggle Memorial.
