A clip showcasing the marriage of Ananya Panday from her not too long ago launched streaming present Name Me Bae has gone viral on social media. The explanation behind the virality of the clip is as a result of it appears each bit just like the marriage of Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra. The clip has many similarities with the unique footage like Ananya’s character’s stroll to the mandap, her dance, and the male lead pointing to his watch like how Sid did within the authentic footage. Customers on social media flocked to the feedback part, and had numerous reactions to the recreated clip. One consumer wrote, “Kiara and Sid”. One other wrote, “Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani can report copyright”. A 3rd wrote, “Why’s she copying Kiara Sid’s marriage ceremony??? What is that this even?” There have been others who weren’t impressed with the recreation. A consumer wrote, “The worst recreation. Kiara was iconic.”
The explanation the scene appears like a direct rip off is as a result of Name Me Bae is produced by Karan Johar, who’s the mentor to Ananya, Kiara and Sidharth.
Throughout an episode of Koffee With Karan, KJo had revealed the rationale behind Sid’s watch gesture stating that Kiara was extremely late for her personal marriage ceremony which drove the friends to borderline offended. Sidharth’s gesture pointing to his watch was a real response of him and others ready endlessly for the bride.
Sidharth and Kiara bought married on February 7, 2023 at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Resort. Their marriage ceremony was attended by their households and shut pals from the trade, together with Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, Juhi Chawla and others.
