An IndiGo flight from Nagpur to Kolkata on Thursday made an emergency touchdown right here after receiving a bomb risk which turned out to be a hoax, officers mentioned.
A passenger was detained following the incident.
The flight with 187 passengers and 6 crew members onboard landed on the Swami Vivekananda Airport right here someday after 9 am following the risk, Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh mentioned.
As per the preliminary data, a passenger instructed plane crew members concerning the presence of a bomb when the flight was mid-air.
