Mr Singh – suspended from the Rajya Sabha for the remainder of the session throughout Opposition protests on Manipur — has been spearheading the sit-in protest.  

Conducting this amid a heavy downpour immediately, he tweeted: “Second day of the protest. Heavy rain! Maybe God can also be crying over the situation of Manipur. The query is barely on one Manipur, when will Modi ji communicate within the Parliament?” he tweeted earlier.
