The Mumbai Police has sought 3,000 personnel from the Maharashtra State Safety Company.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis asserted within the state legislature at the moment that police personnel is not going to be appointed on a contractual foundation and stated Mumbai faces a scarcity of round 10,000 cops.
In an announcement made within the legislative council, Mr Fadnavis, who can be the house minister, stated the Mumbai Police has sought 3,000 personnel from the Maharashtra State Safety Company (MSSC), an enterprise of the state police, to tide over the paucity of manpower.
He stated there’s a scarcity of round 10,000 personnel within the Mumbai police power and the nation’s monetary capital can’t be safeguarded adequately with this shortfall.
“Nowhere are police personnel taken on contract and it’ll not be accomplished (in Maharashtra),” the deputy chief minister stated within the Meeting earlier within the day.
