Panic unfold in an Andhra Pradesh State Highway Transport Company (APSRTC) bus in Visakhapatnam on Friday evening when an unidentified man allegedly attacked three ladies passengers with a chemical, police mentioned on Saturday.
The person fled from the spot instantly after the assault, they added.
In accordance with officers, the incident occurred when the RTC bus halted at Kancharapalem ITI Junction.
The passengers advised the police that the accused boarded the bus and threw a chemical substance in liquid kind on the ladies. They skilled a burning sensation of their eyes and began crying, prompting the driving force to cease the bus instantly.
Upon receiving info, the police arrived on the spot and the ladies have been taken to a close-by hospital in an auto-rickshaw for therapy.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the world to determine the suspect.
