A Nepalese couple has been booked for allegedly stealing jewelry and different valuables from a household right here after serving them meals laced with intoxicants, police mentioned.
The accused have been recognized as Krishan and his spouse Isha, police mentioned Thursday.
In line with police, the Nepalese couple working in an apple orchard in Chiwa village allegedly blended poison within the meals ready for the members of the family and the caretaker as a part of a well-planned conspiracy.
When the caretaker and two ladies of the household fell unconscious, the couple allegedly stole gold ornaments and different valuables saved in the home and fled, police mentioned.
