A 28-year-old house guard succumbed to wounds he sustained in a street accident he met with whereas on obligation for the G20 Summit, police mentioned on Tuesday.
Yogesh, a resident of Nuh, succumbed Sunday night time at a hospital in Gurugram. He had bought married eight months in the past, police mentioned.
Based on police, Yogesh was hit by a rushing scooter on September 8 when he was deployed at a checkpoint close to the IFFCO Chowk flyover to display motorists for the G20 Summit.
He was rushed to the hospital in vital situation.
Praveen Chauhan, Yogesh’s brother-in-law, mentioned Yogesh was recruited as a house guard in Gurugram Police 4 years in the past.
Ankit Raghav, his brother, demanded Yogesh be accorded the standing of a “martyr” and his household be given monetary compensation as a result of he died on obligation.
A senior police officer mentioned an FIR has been registered within the matter and the accident is being investigated.
