Delhi residents endured the fourth consecutive day of ‘poor’ air high quality on Thursday, with indicators at 13 monitoring stations throughout the town being within the ‘pink zone’, up from two the day earlier than.

The 13 stations — Ashok Vihar, Dwarka Sector 8, Patparganj, Punjabi Bagh, Rohini, Bawana, Burari, Jahangirpuri, Mundka, Narela, Okhla Part 2, Shadipur, and Vivek Vihar — recorded readings above 300, in line with the Central Air pollution Management Board (CPCB).

The general air high quality remained within the ‘poor’ class for the fourth consecutive day, with a median 24-hour studying of 285 recorded at 4 pm.

Town witnessed a cloudy sky by the day with a most temperature of 36.2 levels Celsius, three notches above regular, in line with the climate division.

On Thursday, relative humidity fluctuated between 91 p.c and 55 p.c, with the minimal temperature settling at 20.3 levels Celsius, a notch above the season’s common.

The IMD has forecast a primarily clear sky for Friday, with most and minimal temperatures anticipated to hover round 35 levels Celsius and 18 levels Celsius, respectively.

An AQI between zero and 50 is taken into account “good”, 51 and 100 “passable”, 101 and 200 “average”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “extreme”.
