A periods court docket in Mumbai on Thursday stayed the proceedings towards veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar in a grievance filed by Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut.
The order was handed by extra periods decide (Dindoshi court docket) AZ Khan, stated Javed Akhtar’s lawyer Jay Bharadwaj.
The court docket was listening to Javed Akhtar’s revision petition towards the summons issued towards him by a Justice of the Peace on Kangana Ranaut’s grievance.
Kangana Ranaut, in her grievance, accused Javed Akhtar of “extortion and legal intimidation”.
