A lady scholar of Class 11 was allegedly gang-raped by 5 males in a UP village when she was coming back from faculty, police mentioned on Tuesday.
The 5 accused had been arrested on Tuesday, they added.
Whereas she was on her manner house on Monday afternoon, two males recognized to her allegedly provided her elevate on a motorcycle and took her to a secluded place, the place they, together with three others, gang-raped her, ASP Sagar Jain mentioned.
The accused later took the woman on the bike and left her at a crossing, from the place the minor by some means reached the close by police outpost and reported the incident.
On being knowledgeable by the police, the woman’s members of the family reached the police station and lodged an FIR beneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code, together with 376 (rape) and the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the ASP mentioned.
The woman has been despatched to Meerut for remedy, he added.
