New Delhi:
The members of the “Chaddi-Baniyan” gang of Maharashtra have as soon as once more damaged into retailers at Malegaon in Nashik late Wednesday evening and allegedly stole items price lakhs.
The thieves, carrying vests and underwear, have been seen breaking into six retailers promoting fertilizers, {hardware}, and electrical pumps.
They have been captured on CCTV cameras put in on the retailers.
Earlier this week, the gang stole almost 70 gm of gold — price Rs 5 lakh — and bananas from a house and a university at Malegaon.
Members of the gang usually commit crimes carrying underwear and typically carry sharp weapons to scare their targets.
It isn’t clear if the a number of teams committing such robberies are linked, or if the ‘underwear’ assaults are only a modus operandi to mislead investigators.
