Thane, Maharashtra:
A 17-year-old boy was booked for allegedly raping his girlfriend and impregnating her in Kalyan in Maharashtra’s Thane district, a police official stated on Thursday.
The boy was charged on Wednesday underneath Indian Penal Code and Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act provisions on the grievance of the sufferer, additionally 17 years of age, the MFC police station official stated.
“They studied in the identical college and school and have identified one another for a while. The rape incidents came about in January and February when the boy used to come back to the sufferer’s home when she was alone. The boy is but to be detained,” he added.
