Activist Sonam Wangchuk, Different Ladakhis Taken To Rajghat By Police

Sonam Wangchuk had begun his journey with 170 Ladakhis from Leh a month in the past.

Local weather activist Soman Wangchuk and 170 Ladakhis below police detention for the previous two days for violating prohibitory orders have been taken to Rajghat, an officer mentioned on Wednesday.

Mr Wangchuk, who was main ‘Delhi Chalo Padyatra’, had gone on an indefinite quick after he was detained by the Delhi Police on Monday.

The ‘padyatra’ was organised by the Leh Apex Physique, which together with the Kargil Democratic Alliance, has been spearheading an agitation for the final 4 years for statehood for Ladakh and its inclusion within the Sixth Schedule of the Structure.

Mr Wangchuk had begun his journey with 170 Ladakhis from Leh a month in the past.

The marchers have been detained at a number of police stations within the outskirts of Delhi on Monday night time.

They have been detained on the metropolis’s Singhu Border whereas they on their option to Rajghat.
