A girl has filed a case in opposition to her husband and 7 in-laws, alleging psychological and bodily abuse after she complained to them about her husband’s refusal to have interaction in a bodily relationship since their marriage a 12 months and a half in the past, police stated on Wednesday.
The sufferer lodged the grievance on the Gopiganj Police Station on Tuesday naming her husband and in-laws.
Superintendent of Police Meenakshi Katyayan stated the girl claims that her husband has been concerned in an extramarital affair, which is why he has shunned any bodily intimacy together with her since their wedding ceremony evening.
Katyayan stated that the girl was mentally harassed and subjected to home violence when she raised this problem together with her in-laws.
Ranno Devi, a resident of Bharatpur village, reported that her marriage to Jagjit Pal came about on Could 23, 2023, in keeping with the grievance filed underneath numerous sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
