6 Rajasthan Pilgrims Killed After Bus Overturns, Falls 50 Metres In Nepal: Report

Kathmandu:

At the least 6 Indian pilgrims have died in a highway accident within the Bara district of the Southern plains of Nepal, police confirmed. 

The accident which happened within the early hours of Thursday and left 19 individuals injured. 

In response to police, the bus was en path to Janakpur from Kathmandu and was carrying Indian pilgrims when a mishap happened close to Churiamai in Bara.

“Bus overturned and fell some 50 metres down the highway at a river financial institution south of Churiamai Temple at Simara Sub-Metropolitan Metropolis-22 alongside the East-West Freeway at round 2 am,” Deputy Superintendent Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri advised ANI over the telephone. 

The police have recognized the Indian nationals from India’s Rajasthan State. A Nepali citizen additionally died within the accident, the police official added.
