5 Troopers Injured In Terror Assault On Military Automobile In J&Ok’s Gulmarg

Terrorists attacked an Military automobile within the Botapather space of North Kashmir’s Gulmarg, late Thursday, sources advised EDNBOX. Not less than 5 troopers have been injured.

The assault comes hours after a labourer was shot at and injured in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. The injured man was later recognized as Pritam Singh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

The assault earlier at this time was the second in Ganderbal up to now 72 hours.

Three days earlier six development employees and a physician have been killed after terrorists – no less than two of them – attacked a housing camp for development employees constructing a tunnel.

These killed have been recognized as Dr Shahnawaz from Nayidgam Kashmir’s Budgam and Gurmeet Singh from Punjab’s Gurdaspur, whereas Mohammad Haneef, Faheem Nasir, and Kaleem have been from Bihar.

The sixth and seventh have been Madhya Pradesh’s Anil Shukla and Shashi Abrol from Jammu.

The attackers left behind an INSAS rifle.

Omar Abdullah – the newly-elected Chief Minister – referred to as it a “dastardly and cowardly assault on non-local labourers”. Mr Abdullah stated, “They have been engaged on a key infrastructure undertaking. I strongly condemn this assault on unarmed harmless folks and ship my condolences to their family members.”
