The Delhi Police has arrested two Afghan nationals for allegedly operating a drug syndicate, police stated on Sunday.
The accused have been recognized as Hashimi Mohammad Waris (19) and Abdul Nayib, they stated.
A raid was performed on Saturday in Tilak Nagar in Delhi after they acquired a tip-off and arrested Waris and Nayib. They recovered 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine from their possession, Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime) Amit Goel stated.
Waris has been residing in India on refugee standing since January 2020. His household is in Afghanistan. After arriving in India, he labored in a chemist store as a helper in Vikaspuri. He entered into the medication enterprise when his good friend contacted him and requested him to gather the consignments from completely different individuals in Delhi and NCR.
